Amala Shaji is a Malayali model,[1] musical artist and Social media influencer (tik tok, instagram).[2] She gained prominence through social media platforms, and gained popularity on the platforms[3] Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and Facebook.[4][5] She was one of the rising TikTok stars in India, with over 4.1 million followers in Instagram and over 4 million followers in TikTok and majority (89%) of followers are from Tamil Nadu.[6]

Biography

Amala Shaji was born in a Malayali family in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Amala Shaji completed her schooling at Thiruvananthapuram Public School, Thiruvananthapuram and is currently pursuing an aviation course at the Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology.

Controversy

Criticism arose over Amala Shaji's promotion of a money-doubling scheme on Instagram.[7] The influencer encouraged followers to message her friends account, claiming to have personally profited from sending money there with the promise of a high return. Critics allege this promotion amounted to a scam.[8][9]
