Abramovsky (Russian: Абрамовский) is a rural locality (a khutor) in Bolshezhirovsky Selsoviet Rural Settlement, Fatezhsky District, Kursk Oblast, Russia. Population: 11 (2010 Russian census);[2] 16 (2002 Census);[6]
The khutor is located on the Nikovets Brook (a right tributary of the Ruda in the basin of the Svapa), 91 km from the Russia–Ukraine border, 32 km north-west of Kursk, 18.5 km south-west of the district center – the town Fatezh, 10.5 km from the selsoviet center – Bolshoye Zhirovo.[7]
Abramovsky has a warm-summer humid continental climate (Dfb in the Köppen climate classification).
Abramovsky is located 10.5 km from the federal route M-2 Crimea Highway as part of the European route E105, 31 km from the road of regional importance 38K-018 (Kursk – Ponyri), 14 km from the road 38K-039 (Fatezh – 38K-018), 2.5 km from the road of intermunicipal significance 38H-221 (M2 "Crimea Highway" – Kromskaya),[8] 30.5 km from the nearest railway halt 433 km[9] (railway line Lgov I — Kursk).
