WikiProject Dallas Mavericks, now known as the WikiProject National Basketball Association/Dallas Mavericks task force, was a project started on March 3, 2008 with a mission of better organizing the English Wikipedia's coverage of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks. If you are interested in contributing or helping the project, you can add you name below. You can leave any ideas, comments, or suggestions on the talk page, and/or add any tasks to the Open tasks section below.

The mission of this project is to improve all articles related to the Dallas Mavericks. The project currently has one long term goals, the first is to make Dallas Mavericks a Featured Article.

Scope

An article falls under the scope of this project if:

• It is a page on a Mavericks player, past or present
• It is a page on a Mavericks coach, past or present
• It is a page on a member of Mavericks management or ownership, past or present
• It is a page on a Mavericks broadcaster, past or present
• It is a page on a Mavericks season
• It is a page on the NBA Finals, or other playoff series, the Mavericks were in
• It is a page on a current Mavericks minor leaguer
• It is a page on a former Mavericks prospect who was traded, but received ample media coverage in Dallas
• It is a page on a current minor league affiliate, or past ones who affiliation with the Mavericks is notable
• It is a page on a member of a minor league affiliates coaching staff, ownership, or management, past or present
• It is a page on a book, television show, radio program, or movie featuring the Mavericks
• It is a page on any other topic of interest to the Mavericks fan
