Welcome to the Extraordinary Governments task force of WikiProject Former countries.
The aim of this task force is to handle issues related to articles on extraordinary governments, such as provisional governments or governments-in-exile. These are often examples of structures of government that exist without having other supporting institutions or factors that would be necessary to form or maintain a functioning state or country, either on a de jure or de facto basis. It is not the intention to involve or take sides in potentially still ongoing conflicts, but to handle these governments in relation to the other articles that comes into scope of this project.
Develop a structure on how articles on extraordinary governments can best be handled. This structure may involve the development of a dedicated infobox template.
