Both users have recreated the Rakesh Biswas article today (one at Rakesh biswas01/Rakesh Biswas), a couple of hours after the article had been AFD'd. From the usernames, this seems likely to be Rakesh Biswas himself. McGeddon (talk) 17:41, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Callanec:, not sure if you want to close this just yet. It looks like we missed a sock:

RHaworth deleted User talk:Raj.yas here and then deleted the draft Draft:Rakesh Biswas as G11 material, then blocked Raj.yas as having multiple accounts, with the edit summary "(Abusing multiple accounts: user:Rakesh biswas01)".

These two tag-teamed to create the Rakesh Biswas page via AfC a few days ago, and asked for it to be moved to mainspace. Both are blocked & tagged (by Yunshui) as socks of User:Rakesh1991biswas, which User:RHaworth said appears to be an earlier account.

Various redundantly-named versions of the deleted Rakesh Biswas article and the student society he founded have been created in draft space over the past week (Draft:Rakesh_biswas, Draft:Rakesh Biswas, Draft:RAKESH BISWAS, Draft:International youth society of Ecofriendly and Renewable Technology, Draft:IYSERT), including one by a user calling himself "Rakesh 05".

User:Iblong2iyush uploaded Draft:International Youth Society of Eco-Friendly and Renewable Technology (IYSERT) in June and it was deleted as a copyvio. --McGeddon (talk) 13:53, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I can't comment regarding any potential links between the IPs and accounts; I do note however that the range(s) included in this report is highly dynamic, so there would be no point in blocking any of them as they will just cycle through to another IP or range. Named account blocked as an obvious duck after creating Rakesh Biswas.. Couple more drafts found and deleted, Draft:Mr Rakesh Biswas and Draft:Mr Rakesh Biswas, by an external link search. Mostly reporting the account and IPs for the record, though I noticed that the last SPI found some sleepers. Not sure if it worth checking or not. I came across this via International Youth Society of Eco-Friendly and Renewable Technology (originally called IYSERT ORGANISATION), as it was nominated for A7. There was an assertion of notability so I was going to nominate it for AfD instead. I then began looking at a related page created by User:Cyberbotking, Rakesh.Biswas. I moved it and was going to nominate it for AfD, but then noticed the prior AfDs at the corrected name (Rakesh Biswas). This looks like it's Rakesh biswas01 trying to avoid another block. I've blocked everyone since it's pretty obvious, but a sweep for any other accounts opened might be reasonable. The IP is Cyberbotking, as he posted on my talk page, so I'm listing that sort of as a formality.   • On a side note, anyone know where I can make a suggestion about page protections? I'd have probably noticed this sooner if there'd been a popup warning me that the page was protected. (I'd just fixed the name without really checking since it didn't show up in the search bar.) We have warning for page moves when there's page history, but something for page protections might be nice as well. Not a biggie, but it might be useful. User:106.219.183.85 and Cyberbotking45 (a follow-on username to September's blocked sock User:Cyberbotking) recreated another draft article about youth-group speaker Rakesh Biswas under yet another watchlist-dodging title ("Draft:Rakesh Biswas ( IYSERT)"). It was rejected, and Wekipediaaccounts (similar mangled username to September's User:Wekipage fixer) went ahead and created it in mainspace anyway. WP:SPA recreation of one of the many obscure title formats of an article about Rakesh Biswas, per past sockpuppetry - the idiosyncratic "Rakesh Biswas ( IYSERT)" was originally created by a banned sock last November.
