Comment Out of curiosity, what other abortion-related userboxes are there? This seems like the sort of topic where Wikipedia wouldn't be served having their users identify their stances, due to the naturally inflammatory nature of the topic.--WaltCip-(talk) 12:38, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@WaltCip: They're all pretty bad, honestly. Wikipedia:Userboxes/Politics/Issues#Abortion. I honestly can't see, say, User:KC109/Userboxes/Abortion Kills as being the slightest bit better than this one, and honestly would go for a Delete all abortion Userboxes as an appropriate decision, because, honestly, the amount of good they're going to do is so minimal, and they go as far as User:Slightlymad/Userboxes/Anti-abortion, or User:Toa Nidhiki05/Userboxes/Abortion3 - which might not seem so bad, until you realise it's part of a set, and User:Toa Nidhiki05/Userboxes/Abortion2 differs from it by explicitly allowing "abortion" as an indirect part of medical treatments necessary to save the mother's life.

WP:UBX bans Useboxes that are divisive, and I really cant see encouraging people to give their hot takes - either side - on one of the most complex and heated moral issues out there will help in the least. Adam Cuerden ^(talk)_{Has about 7.6% of all FPs} 08:42, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
