Nominator's rationale: Upmerge to deal with smallcat issue and because we do not normally have these categories for faculty of a U.S. high school (one of only 3 such cats.). UnitedStatesian (talk) 15:44, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: I dunno what this is about, or why it was added to the article Naoko Nozawa. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:07, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: merge per WP:SMALLCAT, just one article in this category and only few articles in the target parent category. For reference, Koupéla is a town in Burkina Faso of just over 20.000 people. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:46, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Propose Deleting/Listifying Category:Heroes of the Mongolian People's Republic
Nominator's rationale: WP:OCAWARD (WP:NONDEFINING)
The Mongolian People's Republic category for recipients of the Hero of the Mongolian People's Republic consists overwhelmingly of high ranking Soviet officials like Joseph Stalin and Soviet cosmmonauts like Pavel Belyayev. The Soviet biography articles usually mention awards from other countries in passing within a long list of honors. If you want to see the clutter this type of category creates at the article level, take a look the train wreck at the bottom of this article. The recipients are already listified here in the main article. - RevelationDirect (talk) 00:09, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Propose Deleting/Listifying Category:Hockey Hall of Fame selection committee
Nominator's rationale: Per WP:PERFCAT and WP:NONDEFINING
If you take a look at the official biographies of the 18 people] who serve as the Hockey Hall of Fame Selection Committee, many were famous players in their youth, they generally spent decades working in the sport in some prominent capacity, and most are now late in their careers. Their Wikipedia articles usually mention the 3-year term on the Selection Committee in passing so it doesn't seem defining and all are already well-categorized in multiple subcategoreis of the Category:Hockey tree. The current Selection Committee is already listified here in the main article but I copied all the category contents here on this discussion's talk page in case they want to create a separate list article, which I would welcome. - RevelationDirect (talk) 00:07, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
