Losing contestant on American Idol 1, and album. The subject appears not to have had notable achievements since his appearance on the show. Keep. He was in the top five on a very notable show, he has a single on a national chart (albeit a minor one, as Ohconfucius notes), and there are multiple nontrivial independent sources (the People magazine story cited in the article plus [1] [2] [3]).
