The result was keep. While there was some talk about redirecting, the only editor who thinks this should be deleted is the nominator, and since this discussion has had no new comments in a few days that aren't personal attacks, I'm closing it early. The opening sentence reads - "A bolt is a unit of measurement used as an industry standard for a variety of materials from wood to canvas, typically materials stored in a roll." - It is not a unit of measurement. Needs TNT.

- Redirect to Glossary of textile manufacturing, where I've just added it. It's really a good candidate for a glossary as there's not a ton to say about it. It's a commercial unit. They make fabric, then they wrap them around a cardboard tube/flat, and either the tube itself or the roll of fabric with it is called a bolt. - Keep Absolutely relevant concept in the fabric arts. The article sucks, but it's from lack of effort/interest, not from irrelevance. As long as humans have been making textiles, how they are organized, stored, and transported will have some kind of history. Silk road? Industrial Revolution? Haute couture? How about the etymology? - Comment nothing so far has changed my mind about the need to delete this article. Perhaps the best solution suggested here is by Rhododendrites, supported by Brunton, to redirect to Glossary of textile manufacturing where it is given the prominence it needs. The inaccuracies and incorrectness remaining in this article will then simply vanish. I have also suggested, on my Talk page, to Seven and Six, is to rename this article to Roll (fabric), which will negate all the nonsense about bolts.
