I'm coming to you directly rather than to the India noticeboard, as you're both a patient editor and a very thorough one. (Plus you're almost always the one who responds to my requests...) There's a bit of a situation going on at W (2014 film). Long story short, the film was created by the people involved with the film and they've made attempts to edit the article. These edits were extremely detrimental to the article as one edit prompted another user to nominate it for deletion. (I came across the article because the movie's logo was up for a speedy.) I almost nominated it for deletion but decided to hold off since I did manage to find some coverage for the movie. It's incredibly weak coverage and it's light enough to where I honestly couldn't tell you if it would survive an AfD if it ran through a full week. It's enough to where it might, but the coverage is from a very specific period in time. There are no reviews in any places we'd consider to be a RS. In any case, the biggest problem came from the movie's producer, who came back on to edit the page. The edits not only removed the coverage that I'd put on the article (saying that they were out of date), but the edits were also largely promotional. There was some discussion on my talk page, which has been moved over to the article's talk page upon the producer's request. It's kind of turned into a circular argument but the basic is that the producer isn't aware of the basic rules of verifiability on Wikipedia. Myself and Anup have tried to help but the producer is either very unaware of the guidelines or very adamant on getting his way. I think it's a mixture of the both, but mostly the latter. You'll probably get a better reception from the producer than I did, as my remarks seemed to have been largely dismissed because I wasn't Indian. The producer says this isn't so, but it kind of comes across that way.
I'll warn you, it's a ploopy-storm you'll be wading into but I think that we need a third editor to wade in here and help mediate. You're really good at doing this, so I figured that you'd be a good person to ask for this favor. Plus you might be able to help look for more sources. I can give you a more thorough rundown via e-mail if you want- I'll shoot you one so you have my address. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 15:39, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
I'm coming to you directly rather than to the India noticeboard, as you're. . . etc
—Nice to learn that.
Long story short, the film was created by the people involved with the film and they've made attempts to edit the article. . . etc
— Yes, that seems to be a clear-case of CoI. I have been shouting on this issue for a long time— a large number of Indian productions houses and groups are directly engaging themselves or appointing editors to make promote their content. Here the only difference is that they have confessed.
There was some discussion on my talk page. . .
— I have read parts of this discussion. You are tackling it wonderfully. It is my personal opinion that we should be a little bit more strict here. I have checked their posts contain some fantastic bogus points. I feel, we may either ignore those or answer in one sentence—
They say | We may reply |
---|---|
We are working on a sensitive issues | We just don't care about your work and your ideas and dreams. Wikipedia is not a social service and creating an article is not a philanthropic work. The only thing we understand is Wikipedia's policies and guidelines like WP:RS, WP:Notability, Wikipedia:NPOV etc and everyone must follow these rules |
We are working on an important social issue" | |
We are a small production house | |
A small budget movie like W made with high dreams | |
Our work will be very important for society, humanity etc | |
You are not Indian | That is absolutely invalid. Once again, it is policies and guidelines one editor needs to follow. That's all. Dismissing a non-Indian editor's point without any valid reason is Wikipedia:Systemic bias and such things should be strictly handled. |

For the unacquainted, here are the ones I submitted— "along with using WP:COMMONSENSE when necessary" and "Not to mention, WP:RIGHTGREATWRONGS and Wikipedia:Advocacy", the repetitions in the table have been duly striked out. Soham 17:20, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Thank you kindly, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:10, 22 February 2014 (UTC)
If it is decided to handle only this Nitishkumartn SPI for now, then having a detailed study of affected articles and editing pattern might be helpful to decide next step. Tito☸Dutta 02:43, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
Namàste, dearest Tito, how are you?
I made this short, new page, and I ask 5 minutes of your time to correct my mistakes. She's wonderful, but there isn't yet a picture of her charged on Commons.
Thanks a lot for your precious help.

She will be mother in March 2014— that is an uncommon information, I have not checked source, make sure it is directly cited by reliable ref, as it is a WP:BLP. Tito☸Dutta 13:31, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
I am a novice at this as apparent . I attempted at making a profile of Vipin Vijay . The content is in direct consultation with Vipin and bears inserts from various articles on web .
Please could you help me understand how I could abide by the standard norms and the corrections to be incorporated in relation to the page?
Thanks you in advance ,

As one of the previous contributors to ((Infobox film)) or as one of the commenters on it's talk page, I would like to inform you that there has been a RfC started on the talk page as to implementation of previously deprecated parameters. Your comments and thoughts on the matter would be welcomed. Happy editing!

Yes, the edit-a-thon is happening tomorrow and day after! I would love to host you here in Kozhikode, but we don't have a tour package for the prominent editors as of now :-) We should probably ask the Wikimedia Foundation to conduct the next Wikimania here! And yes, happy every day! -- Netha (talk) 18:39, 14 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi again Tito!
I'm a little bit out of my depth here. Could you possibly have a little look at this article? I'm sure it needs a change of name, but I'm not sure what it should be WP:MOVE-d to.

ps: I'm still wondering why Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Titodutta is a red-link.
