Hi Thingg! I saw you have reverted edits (vandalism) those were done by user Faragali to the article M. S. El Naschie. This user has left a message in my talk page as well. Seems something is wrong with that article and must be "investigated". Here are some issues related to that article: 1. There are two articles about this person on wikipedia M. S. El Naschie and El Naschie. 2. Those images appear in the article are questionable for their copyrights because one can see them here as well. 3. Both of those articles have been created by the same user User:Nasr2000 and are being "protected" by the user. Therefore, I suggest that edits of this user also should be investigated. I appreciate it if you closely pay attention to this article. Thanks -- Gulmammad (talk) 02:43, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Do you have any idea what's going on with these IPs editing templates? -WarthogDemon 19:05, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on AdventureQuest. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Just a friendly heads-up. --Eruhildo (talk) 00:56, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, Thingg.
I wanted to personally thank you for taking part in the project-wide discussions regarding my candidacy for bureaucratship. After bureaucratic discussion, the bureaucrats decided that there was sufficient significant and varied opposition to my candidacy, and thus no consensus to promote. Although personally disappointed, I both understand and respect their decision, especially in light of historical conservatism the project has had when selecting its bureaucrats. If you have any further suggestions or comments as to how you think I could help the project, please let me know. Once again, thank you for your support. -- Avi (talk) 17:12, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

You've apparently got a lot of time on your hands. Look, this is my first attempt at a Wikipedia page and within 45 seconds of posting my first draft you're absolutely all over it with your complaints.
I'm sorry I don't fully understand how this works, and I'm sure I'm about to be treated to a barrage of "why didn't you read the guidelines", but frankly I did. Apparently not closely enough. I'll try again later, if one of you people doesn't see fit to outright ban me from posting.
Oh, and stop threatening to ban me from posting based on "vandalizing" my page. I was trying to clear the data YOU complained about. Seriously, cut it out.

please read the talk page- untill a proper case for inclusivity is established, the most conservative version of the article must remian- it still needs to be argued for- maybe some of those things might be included later- but there is no reason for high school societies, and honor societies and final clubs etc- that are not true "Collegiate Secret Societies" to be included, this needs to be established on the talk page first, before accepted inclusion. Your version you keep bringing back can not stand untill all issues have been resolved- stop reverting, it is innappropriate.Schooldoc (talk) 17:44, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Thingg,
I'm very new to this and note that you've just made a contribution of mine (my first) 'Vandalism'. I've checked the definition and it says the following:
Vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. The most common types of vandalism include the addition of obscenities or crude humor, page blanking, or the insertion of nonsense into articles.
Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism.
I don't thimk my contribution was obscene, crude or nonsensical (well, I know it wasn't). I've no idea what page blanking is. I was genuinely trying to improve the entry on Georga Lamb, who has caused a fair old fuss in England (and beyond). I recognise that my technical skills may not be up to much, yet, but I'm concerned at your actions. How can I correct this?
All the best,
HitTheNorth - not a vandal, honest! —Preceding unsigned comment added by HitTheNorth (talk • contribs) 10:52, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

In its current state, the long chain of cited dates are difficult to parse. The summarizing phrase makes the section easier to understand.
A closed beta was in progress in Europe in May 2007,[161] and an open beta was scheduled to be available in North America in early fall 2007.[160] However, at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show, Sony announced that the final worldwide launch of Home, which had originally been scheduled for fall 2007, would take place in Spring 2008.[162] SCEI President and Group CEO Kaz Hirai later explained that the launch was delayed for further testing and feedback evaluation to provide the best possible experience upon launch.[163] On April 21, 2008, Sony announced that Home would be delayed further and the closed beta would be extended until fall 2008[164], effectively delaying the service's availability to the general public by a full year.

Hey, I really like Huggle and I noticed your offer to send the source code by email on request. Then I noticed you don't have email enabled... If you don't want to send it out, I totally understand, but I haven't been able to successfully decrypt huggle beyond 19065 KB of machine code, even when using MS Visual Studio 2005 Pro Ed. (And wow does that mc hurt my eyes.... ;) ). If your offer is still open, I do have email enabled (what I've done in the past when emailing files to fellow users of teh wiki is to email them and tell them on their talk page, then they reply to the email to give me their actual email address and then I send them the file) and I'd really like to take a look at the code for that. Hi dear bro, the scripture that was found in Sorkh Khotal was not in Takhari language but in greec. The Tocharians have lost their language by adopting the Bactrian and Sogdian dialects when they invaded central Asia and became urban. Tocharian language is also not an iranic language since Iranic languages are belonging to the satem (100) groups. Tocharian language was belonging to the centum (100) group...that means the language was close to German, scandinavian languages and slavic languages.

If you can find any picture or shred of evidence from either the Orange order or Ian Paisley himself that prove he is a member (and considering he associates with the independant Orange Instituion which is in contravention of the "Laws, Ordinances and Constitution of the Orange Institution" and would cause him to be expelled) or was ever a member then i will accept the deletion of my information but on the other hand i would like it returned... i am not guilty of vandalism and if i have to speak to doctor paisley myself i will do so!—Preceding unsigned comment added by Sword of the Lord and Gideon (talk • contribs) 21:40, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I guess from a certain perspective, you are right. This is an Encylopedia and should contain all data about everything, and should be updated as soon as the facts have been made public. In this case: The moment an episode airs, Wikipedia should contain every iota of data that was relayed in the episode. Heck, it should be updated live while the episode is airing.
However, I think it is very rude to put in the first line of an article one of the surprise elements of a pivotal episode. Not everybody had a chance to watch the episode when it aired; myself included. I should not have been using the internet until I'd watched it; But I had no idea somebody would be so careless/thoughtless and leave a big ol' spoiler right at the top of the page.
If you don't think it's rude to spoil something for someone else, then I guess that says something about you, doesn't it. AdamWeiler (talk) 01:59, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:PSN logo color.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. One of the oldest Jewish communities in the World exists in the Southern Mediterranean region, so I believe they should not be obliterated in discussions of the region. Furthermore, the Architecture article is insanely unreal. It is akin to grouping American (USA)architecture with Columbian or MAyan architecture or the architecture of the Amazonian tribes. It may be OK to write fairytales on WIkipedia and it has lasted for very long but isn't it time someone did something to correct it? To my fellow admins - please let me know right away if I ever take any mis-steps with my new tools. Should I make a mistake, and you reverse the action, I will not consider it to be wheel-warring (but please tell me so I can understand what I did wrong).
To everyone - please feel free to slap me around a bit if I ever lose sight of the core philosophy of Wikipedia as I understand it - the advancement of knowledge through the processes of mutual understanding and respect. As always, feel free to drop by my talk page if I can be of any assistance. =)

WorkWise, Inc. is a provider of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software applications for the mid-size Manufacturer. The WorkWise Product Line is known as TCM (Time Critical Manufacturing) and has been a part of the ERP marketplace for 30 years.
WorkWise Inc. is headquartered in Milwaukee, WI - with many vitural offices throughout the United States and an R&D office located in Shanghai, China. The company has over 500 customers throughout the U.S. as well as in Canada and the Pacific Rim.
EMS (Effective Management Systems), founded by Mike Dunham, was the original author of the TCM (Time Critical Manufacturing) ERP Product Line in the mid 1970's. In the late 1990's EMS went public. In 1999, EMS was acquired by IFS (Inudstrial and Financial Systems) to expand their presence in the U.S. and with the intent of converting the existing TCM customers to the IFS applications. The company was not very successful in moving customers to the IFS applications and in 2001, Mike Dunham, the original owner of EMS purchased the TCM product back from IFS along with 30 key employees with TCM experience and formed a new company called WorkWise, Inc. Today, WorkWise has doubled in size and has continued development of the product line to serve its existing customers as well as new customers.

I'm really quite annoyed that you suddenly sent me 4 messages about vandalism and threatening to block me from editing. I have never done any such thing.
I have been a Wikipedian for a long time and never have I been called such ridiculous rubbish. Kindly tell me in what way was I vandalising.
I have created a new Category called WAGs because I'm currently working on the biographies of footballers' wives and girlfriends. I have created, for instance, Nuria_Bermudez just this week; this is a brand new article. I plan to do a new article for all the Spanish La Liga WAGs.
I then realised that there wasn't a WAGs category, so I created one: Category:WAGs.
Because Nuria looked a bit silly as the only WAG, I then went to the article WAGs and looked to see what other WAGs I could edit, and add the new category.
I was speeding through them all when you suddenly bombarded me with four messages, saying I was vandalising pages. I am most offended by this, and I should like an immediate retraction. But, furthermore, a full explanation as to why you believe that what I was doing could, in any way, constitute vandalism.
I particularly resent being told this from a Wikipedian who has only just joined 6 months ago. Quite who do you think you are? Furthermore, you are not British, therefore I cannot see what on earth you know about Cheryl Cole or Coleen McLaughlin.
I most certainly was not vandalising anything.Tris2000 (talk) 17:26, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Can you comment on this please? I am not clear on any history that might be relevant. Cheers TigerShark (talk) 17:28, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

WP:NOT#DICTIONARY is explicitly not a speedy deletion criterion. See Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion#Non-criteria. Instead, do the hard work of transwiki'ing it to Wiktionary, then ask for speedy as transwiki'd. Cheers, WilyD 18:04, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
well, this is interesting. i know I suggested this to you as a possible route, but I'm too timid to be the first admin to boldly do it. let me know if it works for ya! ;> xenocidic (talk) 18:29, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
I turned it into a bare-boned stub. There are sources out there, but I don't know it would survive AFD. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 20:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

The 2 others acknowledged commentators are indeed the French and Finnish. There was therefore no reason to remove this edition.
Furthermore T. Wogan is purely an Irish-UK icon, indeed unknown from the main public. Please prove me the contrary before censoring my editions.
Finally comments on the Telegraph clearly indicate the split thoughts on TW's desire to quit the Eurovision comments. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2008/05/26/do2603.xml

Regarding this edit and this Level 2 warning edits using Huggle, these don't appear to be vandalism. It looks like a new user trying to demonstrate where he derived the article from. --maclean 02:30, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
I think those edits might actually be constructive (except the one that added all the question marks). I didn't believe it at first, but being the responsible admin I am, I did a google search and...there seems to be some credence to the claim. =) xenocidic (talk) 02:45, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello Thingg --
Thank you for your interest in my photograph from the Corlea Trackway. I would be pleased to license it so that it may be included in Wikipedia -- I had a lot of trouble FINDING Corlea or any information about it before I went there! If I can help others who are interested, that would be good.
I am not very familiar with the ins and outs of Creative Commons, and my instinct is to use my real name not my flicker account name or Wikipedia name as author.
In anycase, let me know what I need to do next. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Milezero (talk • contribs) 12:48, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello! As per your declining the June 7 DYK nomination for Roujin Z because it fell short of required characters -- I just expanded the text to meet your requirements. Please re-review this listing for DYK consideration. (It is the one with the hospital bed with a built-in atomic power reactor -- you said it was a great hook!). Thanks Ecoleetage (talk) 22:56, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello Thingg - I made the change to the "ShareAlike" license, so please feel free to upload if you would like! Let me know if there are any problems. Thanks, Milezero (talk) 03:21, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I removed the speedy delete nomination. This is a normal article for this kind of subjects, see for example Category:Systems science societies.
I have explained myself on the talkpage. I don't know where you got the idea that this is just for promotion. The subject itselve is already mentioned more then 20 times in Wikipedia and then it is more then normal to write an article about it.
If you think I just copied pasted the article here your are very mistaken. I just spend about two hours collection all these data from different sources. -- Marcel Douwe Dekker (talk) 15:05, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Dear Thingg
Whats the problem with the page 'Dr ishrat Ul Ebad Khan' which everything written is factual and has been cited with evidence! What do i need to do in order to let the page stay?

Hello! I'm currently working on the section "Controversies" of the article The Soviet Story. Could you please read it and write on Discussion page your suggestions/corrections/impression on the quality of this section? I will try to polish the text then. The film considered in the article is very controversal, so I would realy appreciate if you will track the changes in it. If it is out of the scope of your interests, could you please provide me with a link to some other users with administrative rights? Thank you. 129.173.66.208 (talk) 18:00, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Thingg,
I am trying to make changes to the deleted "Titan Worldwide" article, but all posts continue to be deleted. How do I stop this? It is a very similar page to those of other companies in its industry and those pages have not been deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Titan 2 (talk • contribs) 18:43, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello, Thingg. Hope you remember me. I'v seen you review some articles at Template talk:DYK. I was wondering what you thought about the hook of Pete Smith (baseball). I created it on June 5. What do you think? Oh, and I'd like it if you replied here, on your talk page.--RyRy5 (talk) 03:25, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your concern on the J.H. Whitney & Company article but I have removed the prod as I do not see any grounds for its inclusion. If you have specific issues with any of the text, please feel free to make changes but the article is fairly balanced, if anything I would expect an advertiser would be fired for including a discussion of firm's failures in 2000 and back in the early 1990s. Let me know if you have any further issues. Thanks |► ϋ r b a n я e n e w a l ◄| (talk) 23:35, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Er...excuse me? I don't use Huggle, or any other automated script, for that matter. Perhaps you left that message on the wrong page? GlassCobra 23:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'm thinking the tag will work, it did on the same page for J.delanoy, and even if it doesn't work, they have been given warning and will be treated as a vandal if they revert it. dude527 (talk) 00:47, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
For reverting persistent vandalism to my talk page. Much appreciated. Cheers, JNW (talk) 14:18, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Hi Thingg. If that was a manual revert to my edit of Trams in Europe, it was scarily quick. Could you spare me the vandalism warnings though? If you look at this edit you'll notice that an anonymous user triplicated almost the entire article about a fortnight ago. Since ClueBot seems to have missed it, I thought I would tidy up the article by removing the triplicated sections, but ClueBot reverted it (fair enough - I can see why a heuristic would pick that up). I reported a ClueBot false positive, and assumed that doing so would at least temporarily allow me to save the edit. Is that not correct? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Parallelepipete (talk • contribs) 14:57, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
I goofed.
After spending hours putting together Talk:Central Board of Secondary Education/Spam and listing domains at WikiProject Spam I screwed up and left in the spammy cbse.co.in link by mistake, not the official http://www.cbse.nic.in. I am glad this error got corrected and I am sorry for the mistake. --A. B. (talk • contribs) 17:52, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
hello friend, the edit you reverted was actually a true news... Argentina "A" v. Uruguay was actually the 1st match of the South American Rugby union tournament, it was held in Montevideo the last 31st May. Unfortunately news from South America are not very quick, plus there's not a CONSUR official website; plus the IRB site doesn't have a page dedicated to the South American Championship. Hi! What is the problem with my edit of The Soviet Story page? What is not encyclopeadic? 129.173.66.208 (talk) 14:46, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Would like to know the reason for flagging for deletion. London Theological Seminary is a respected training college - known, in its field, all over the world - and almost all similar colleges have entries on Wikipedia. I will make a database of some hard words with their simple equivalents, so the program can begin some translating. whats the best way to do this for vb? here are some thoughts i shared with J.delanoy:
let me know. i can maybe host it, or at the least advertise it around simplewikipedia. cheers Spencerk (talk) 17:38, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm beginning to think there is definate bias against our production on this site. I've kept to the facts and have written, in my own words, a description of the production; from my beginning the project in 1999. I really do not know what else I can to. I note that a similar production article appears on Wikipedia with no problem against them for citing links, points of reference etc. ie: Wildhorn's Dracula musical. So why are we being given a hard time? This is the eleventh time I've written a version of this article about our professional production, as a point of historical and educational reference for such entertainment in the UK. I also left notes to state the logical reason for my article remaining on this site.
Please advise.
