Freshwater gamefish[edit]

I have noticed that you have placed a number of Australian native freshwater fish in the Category Freshwater Game fish. Please explain what criteria you are using to determine that a particular species belongs in this category, as some of them seem dubious at best such as spotted galaxias and Australian grayling. - Nick Thorne talk 08:43, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have simply been looking for mention of angling in either the wiki page itself, the IGFA records page, or FishBase. I understand that this can be a subjective term, and am happy to reconsider any that I have done.--Russaber (talk) 15:12, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Saltwater Game fish[edit]

Hello, Russaber

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Saltwater Game fish for deletion, because it seems to be vandalism or a hoax.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
