The article Hackman (kitchen equipment company) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the ((proposed deletion/dated))
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing ((proposed deletion/dated))
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello, my friend. I ran across Voiture trolley. No pic here or commons. Is this basically a trolley with food that they wheel around? is a Dessert cart one kind? What about those dim sum carts and those on planes? Must it have wheels? Can it have wheels? Are we missing an article or coverage somehow? Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:19, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
Anna Frodesiak: Go for it; create the new article. If you do so, just let me know, as I can likely contribute in my spare time. Below are some usable images. North America1000 04:43, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
Nice pics! Thank you. I'm still a bit lost as to how to do this, considering the existence of food cart. Any ideas? Best, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:35, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
Is there any evidence that this exists? I found nothing, not even a dictionary definition. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:01, 12 December 2017 (UTC)
Anna Frodesiak: Surprisingly, there are viable sources available, but not much for Voiture trolley. Some of the serving cart book sources are about building serving carts, but they also provide information on their uses, how they are built, materials used in their construction, and how they are decorated. (help)Please see this redirect and please explain how the information was “merged”. It appears to me it was simply redirected so none of the information was actually merged. Atsme📞📧 13:33, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
So sorry to bother you again. When considering consensus to merge, I followed the supplement Wikipedia:Delete_or_merge#Role in dispute resolution but there are two editors who have assumed a WP:BATTLEGROUND position; one of whom just deleted most of what was decided in the merge consensus. See the edit history - they removed almost all that was merged. Atsme📞📧 17:08, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
Actually, I don't think it's fair that the merge was deleted after a #redirect was added, so I'm reverting my redirect. The article will stand until they reach yet another consensus to decide what they want to merge which basically tells me they're ignoring the current consensus not to delete but to merge and that apparently consensus means nothing because they deleted the merge. Why should anyone respect any consensus anywhere if nothing happens when they don't? Atsme📞📧 19:04, 10 December 2017 (UTC)

Hello. I'm not always good at recognizing WP:Artspam. Does this quailfy? thanks -- Dlohcierekim (talk) 23:45, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
@Dlohcierekim and Coolabahapple: I don't view the article as having a particularly promotional WP:TONE. It reads to me as a neutrally-worded overview of the organization. Not seeing promotional intent in the prose or promotional phrasing/weasel words stating how "great" or "revolutionary" (etc.) the organization is, and not seeing any promotion encouraging readers to solicit the organization. Regarding topic notability, for this topic, refer to WP:ORGDEPTH and WP:GNG. A research institute does not have to be unique to be WP:NOTABLE; rather it is based upon whether or not it has received significant coverage in multiple, independent reliable sources. North America1000 02:38, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
Hi, NA100.
Can you reconsider closing this AfD?. I believe there is support for closure (genuine support I mean). The latest delete !vote which I replied to has been trying to get the article deleted across-wikis for over two years without success for apparent personal reasons. When I commented I can't access bn-wiki, that's why I failed to provide the AfD. Here is the AFD on Bengali Wiki initiated by him and closed as keep. Not satisfied he continued the argument on talkpage, where it was established again she passed WP:ENT and gave up then. I believe he'll likely not respond and there's enough consensus for keeping it. Guild of Copy Editors December 2017 News
Hello copy editors! Welcome to the December 2017 GOCE newsletter, which contains nine months(!) of updates. The Guild has been busy and successful; your diligent efforts in 2017 has brought the backlog of articles requiring copy edit to below 1,000 articles for the first time. Thanks to all editors who have contributed their time and energy to help make this happen. Our copy-editing drives (month-long backlog-reduction drives held in odd-numbered months) and blitzes (week-long themed editing in even-numbered months) have been very successful this year. March drive: We set out to remove April, May, and June 2016 from our backlog and all February 2017 Requests (a total of 304 articles). By the end of the month, all but 22 of these articles were cleared. Officially, of the 28 who signed up, 22 editors recorded 257 copy edits (439,952 words). (These numbers do not always make sense when you compare them to the overall reduction in the backlog, because not all editors record every copy edit on the drive page.) April blitz: This one-week copy-editing blitz ran from 16 through 22 April; the theme was Requests. Of the 15 who signed up, 9 editors completed 43 articles (81,822 words). May drive: The goals were to remove July, August, and September 2016 from the backlog and to complete all March 2017 Requests (a total of 300 articles). By the end of the month, we had reduced our overall backlog to an all-time low of 1,388 articles. Of the 28 who signed up, 17 editors completed 187 articles (321,810 words). June blitz: This one-week copy-editing blitz ran from 18 through 24 June; the theme was Requests. Of the 16 who signed up, 9 editors completed 28 copy edits (117,089 words). 2017 Coordinator elections: In June, coordinators for the second half of 2017 were elected. Jonesey95 moved back into the lead coordinator position, with Miniapolis stepping down to remain as coordinator; Tdslk and Corinne returned as coordinators, and Keira1996 rejoined after an extended absence. Thanks to all who participated! July drive: We set out to remove August, September, October, and November 2016 from the backlog and to complete all May and June 2017 Requests (a total of 242 articles). The drive was an enormous success, and the target was nearly achieved within three weeks, so that December 2016 was added to the "old articles" list used as a goal for the drive. By the end of the month, only three articles from 2016 remained, and for the second drive in a row, the backlog was reduced to a new all-time low, this time to 1,363 articles. Of the 33 who signed up, 21 editors completed 337 articles (556,482 words). August blitz: This one-week copy-editing blitz ran from 20 through 26 August; the theme was biographical articles tagged for copy editing for more than six months (47 articles). Of the 13 who signed up, 11 editors completed 38 copy edits (42,589 words). September drive: The goals were to remove January, February, and March 2017 from the backlog and to complete all August 2017 Requests (a total of 338 articles). Of the 19 who signed up, 14 editors completed 121 copy edits (267,227 words). October blitz: This one-week copy-editing blitz ran from 22 through 28 October; the theme was Requests. Of the 14 who signed up, 8 editors completed 20 articles (55,642 words). November drive: We set out again to remove January, February, and March 2017 from the backlog and to complete all October 2017 Requests (a total of 207 articles). By the end of the month, these goals were reached and the backlog shrank to its lowest total ever, 997 articles, the first time it had fallen under one thousand (click on the graph above to see this amazing feat in graphical form). It was also the first time that the oldest copy-edit tag was less than eight months old. Of the 25 who signed up, 16 editors completed 159 articles (285,929 words). 2018 Coordinator elections: Voting is open for the election of coordinators for the first half of 2018. Please visit the election page to vote between now and December 31 at 23:59 (UTC). Thanks for participating! Housekeeping note: We do not send a newsletter before (or after) every drive or blitz. To have a better chance of knowing when the next event will start, add the GOCE's message box to your watchlist. Thank you all again for your participation; we wouldn't be able to achieve what we have without you! Cheers from your GOCE coordinators: Jonesey95, Miniapolis, Corinne, Tdslk, and Keira1996. To discontinue receiving GOCE newsletters, please remove your name from our mailing list.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hey you, yeah you! (talk) 18:17, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive behaviour. It appears you are purposefully harassing another editor. Wikipedia aims to provide a safe environment for its collaborators, and harassing other users potentially compromises that safe environment. If you continue behaving like this, you may be blocked from editing. Hey you, yeah you! (talk) 18:17, 28 December 2017 (UTC)

I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. If you don't like Christmas or just don't celebrate it in any of its forms, then please accept a generic "Happy Holidays". − It looks like some people have given you advice before, but let me see if mine will help. You have one interest here and it's food articles, you restore material because you think it's appropriate, but if everyone else removes it or blanks it, you immediately restore it or revert them. This isn't the collaboration that it takes to work around here, Wikipedia is built on collaboration and so, if someone disagrees with you and there may be good reason why, the last thing you need is to be reverting them, reporting them, spamming them, whatever. It would be good advice that you find some other subject or other quieter area, because, why is it worth the trouble of disagreeing with people you know are going to disagree with you? Not everyone likes food articles and not everyone will like adding whatever trivia like if the place opened yesterday or last week. There are a lot of websites that people can add that, but Wikipedia obviously isn't every website. From the looks of your contributions, you've been going on and on at food articles for months and months, disagreeing with anyone who disagreed on them. Like the good saying goes, "If someone disagrees with you, understanding why they disagreed is a good place to look". If people have disagreed with you over and over about something, and you think reverting is going to help each time, then that's not ever going to change things and it's causing future disagreements. A lot of businesses operate wherever and all of them can serve a lot of things, none of it is a big deal or worth it if you know people disagree and if there's a good chance it's going to get heated. Not everyone always has to include food trivia or whatever about it, and especially if it's clear something is going to be controversial about it, it could be 5 editors who disagree, it could 10 editors, and that's what makes it controversial. If Wikipedia is built on collaboration, then there has to be good common sense and not that the other person must be biased or something. Wikipedia is not here for our own personal interests or what we think should be in articles, it's here because of what is good for Wikipedia. 3RR because someone disagreed with one part you thought should be included is definitely not that collaboration. There are a lot of different things here on Wikipedia and food doesn't have to be one of those things if it means reverting. If everyone looked at an article and thought "I think that's cool even if some people disagreed about it before and blanked it, then let me add it again", then that's a good chance of another fight. Wikipedia wasn't ever built for that and nowhere here can I see something that food is either. It's your choice, reverting edits because of something you think should be included, or ending in the obvious place each time. Immediately calling something a WP:NOTHERE flaming or a troll definitely isn't helping and it doesn't make an article look good if that's all it exists for: "I like it". Hey you, yeah you! (talk) 22:06, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
