Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. While the content of your edit may be true, I have removed it because its depth or nature of detail are not consistent with our objectives as an encyclopedia. I recognize that your edit was made in good faith and hope you will familiarize yourself with what Wikipedia is not so we may collaborate in the future. Thank you! Ndg, regarding this edit just wanted to clarify you that online sources like Yahoo!, Slant MAgazine, AfterEllen etc are not italicized in the prose text or the references. I suggest you correct these errors. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 08:25, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
K, thanks for the info! Ndg78 (talk) 09:02, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ndg, regarding the image of Liza that you added. The reason I removed it was there is already an existing image of Madonna performing in a similar way to Cabaret and the mere link to the article would suffice it. Hence adding another image of Liza would be redundant. Contrary, on "Oh Father" the picture of madonna's father is necessary since Tony Ciccone is the primary inspiration behind the song and is being discussed critically and by authors in that section. A picture of the man who became a song's theme aids the reader hence it is used. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat</fontnote> ] 06:58, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I understand what you are saying about the Liza picture. But I disagree with you about the Tony Ciccone picture because although "Oh Father" was inspired by Madonna's father, I don't think that the reader really needs a visually aid as to what Madonna's father looks like(how does that aid the reader in any way?). However, I have better things to do then sit here and argue with you all day over the matter so I will not fight it anymore.Ndg78 (talk) 07:09, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
