Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, DreamFan789. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 06:30, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2019[edit]

Information icon

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:DreamFan789, and the template ((Paid)) can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: ((paid|user=DreamFan789|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName)). Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. bonadea contributions talk 08:15, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, can't understand what you want to say.DreamFan789 (talk) 08:18, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I cant understand about the employer & clinet. I am alone here, so who will be my client? Also, I am student, age 14, studied 10th standard, I am not a employee in any company. Another question, I have to pay money for editing here?DreamFan789 (talk) 08:34, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody has to pay to edit. But you are not allowed to do undeclared paid editing, as explained above. You are also not allowed to edit Wikipedia when your account has been blocked. You must not create new accounts, or edit without logging in. --bonadea contributions talk 08:37, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, till now unable to understand what you want to say. Why I can't be allowed to edit here? DreamFan789 (talk) 08:50, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

COI[edit]

You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself and read the guidance below

Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. That doesn't mean you can write what you like, you must follow the guidance below.

You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:DreamFan789. The template ((Paid)) can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: ((paid|user=DreamFan789|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName)). If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Also read the following regarding writing an article

  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:37, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
