Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Lettler were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of events). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
No lasting coverage, as far as I see from looking on Google. If more sources can be found to prove GNG, and the article is cleaned up to be less essay-like, I will be happy to accept.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

The reason I declined your article is not because I'm pathetic. Of the sources in the article, which is very essay-like anyway, there are two New York Times sources, which were written on the days after the suicide and do not show lasting coverage. The third ref is dead, the fourth mentions Imen only once and not significantly, and the fifth and sixth are from non-neutral sources. If you can find sources that discuss Imen that are neutral, I will gladly accept the article. Lettlerhello • contribs 16:24, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
