i need what Panfilo de Narvez impacted on the Native Americans

Conquest rather than colonization[edit]

During the 16th century the expansion of the Spanish Empire in the Americas was made by conquering rather than by colonization. In nearle all America tha Spanish were outnumbered by natives. The Spanish conquered first and then began sowly to settle.

- Object... leave the scope of the template to cover "colonization"; "conquest" is too limited a term; if the name and scope of the template are changed then there would have to be a separate template for articles dealing with "colonization" as distinct from "conquest". - Agree with Richard that no template name change is necessary - for one thing, the name of the template is irrelevant to the reader, who only sees what it displays, not what it is called. As it is now the template displays with the title and main article link 'Spanish colonization of the Americas', the name of the template itself is a moot point. The nominator may have a point in that the template's contents are more related to conquest- rather than colonial-era events and people; perhaps some more colonial-related items could be added in. --cjllw ʘ TALK 03:24, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  - The is a big discodance whan the article name and title is Spanish colonization of the Americas but the links are all about conquests. If it was for the links the template should be named Spanish conquest of the Americas. A template about Spanish colonization of the Americas should include and article about Spanish immigration to the Americas and one about Spanish colonial society.
