Willing to review, but need sleep first. We don't need the complicated caption twice. Please find a way that doesn't pretend to picture California ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:37, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

Overall: Pinging Drmies, Aymatth2, Uncle G for consideration of the hook and picture. Also, a couple of minor points: In the 3rd para of the "Early years" section, why does it suddenly say "Robert (or Roberts)"? When did CALM campaign? RebeccaGreen (talk) 18:11, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

The salt marsh harvest mouse. If only Ucucha were here to see it. Drmies (talk) 20:04, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

OK, the minor points I raised have been addressed, and I think the ALT hooks now do draw readers' interest, that somewhere heavily polluted is now home to endangered species. I have struck ALT0. I prefer ALT2, but will leave ALT1 for promoters' consideration. The pic may not be of that same marsh, but the hook isn't saying so, and that's definitely the San Francisco Bay salt marsh harvest mouse, so I have added (pictured) back into the hook. The photo may or may not get used anyway. RebeccaGreen (talk) 20:33, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
