• Article doesn't say "extortionists". Otherwise everything looks good. I suggest simplifying:

ALT1: ... that Indian school teacher Barun Biswas led protests against a gang using rape to terrorize the local people of Sutia in West Bengal?

Or using a different fact:

ALT2: ... that Indian school teacher Barun Biswas was murdered for protesting against rape in Sutia, West Bengal?
