This is not a list of shopping malls in Thailand, it is mostly a list of stores in Thailand. That is way too much detail - Wikipedia is not a directory of stores. Someone should prune out all the entries for individual stores and smaller shopping plazas. Brianyoumans 07:47, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Image:Big C Logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. This article is a mess. Lots of redlinks, precious few sources. The links we have are almost worse than the redlinks, because quite a lot point to the wrong destination. Another problem is the confusion between malls, department stores and even the furniture retailer Index Living Mall. This gets only worse for the malls "under construction" or "coming soon". I'll go through the article, try to find a source for every entry, and remove what I cannot confirm to be a mall. Obviously, this will take some time, and help will be appreciated greatly. --Huon (talk) 13:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Oh dear, yes, what a mess, I can see why previous editors have been so daunted. I want to start work on salvaging this article, and I've started with some alphabetical ordering. I'd suggest working on this in several phases. First phase would be to fix alphabetical order. Possible other phases, not necessarily in this order, to include splitting out Bangkok list because the whole article is way too long, check all wikilinks and fix where necessary, check redlinks and remove if the subject looks unlikely to get its own article, check current external references, search for extra references. Maybe split into several lists, for department stores, malls, and super/hypermarkets. Oscroft (talk) 08:08, 7 January 2010 (UTC).
This article now renamed, and all obvious dept stores, supermarkets, chain stores, night bazaars, etc removed. Some if it is alphabetized, but there's still a lot to do. Redlinks also need to be removed, and references added. Boing! said Zebedee (aka Oscroft) 15:08, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
All alphabetized, redlinks removed, non-malls removed, and some refs added where I could find them. More refs are needed, and some of the ones I've found could be improved on, but I think this is a reasonable start. -- Boing! said Zebedee 07:14, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
The list was a mess of provinces and cities with nothing to distinguish them - you wouldn't know whether each section was a province or a city until you clicked the title link to find out. I've reworked it now so it's all arranged by province - with level three headings for districts/cities within that where justified. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 15:10, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
