Straight to Hell is a song of The Clash from their album Combat Rock.

This downbeat song is based around the Vietnam War and most notably the American soldiers who fathered a lot of children with Vietnamese women. This is possibly one of the band’s most politically charged tracks since their debut, made all the more so by Strummer’s venomous vocals. The song was actually edited as it sprawls for almost 7 minutes, and the unedited version can only be found on the Clash on Broadway box set.

It is regarded as one of the fines songs of the band from their late catalogue. The musical backdrop is one of rough, lingering violin strings with the remarkable work of Topper Headon's militaristic drumming and the churning guitar of Mick Jones. By fan's opinions this is one of the most passionate songs, The Clash ever did.
