Phyllonorycter silvicola is a moth of the family Gracillariidae. It is found in western Kenya at the eastern edge of primary rainforests intermixed with savannah vegetation.[1]
The length of the forewings is 2.7 mm.[1] The forewings are light ochreous with white markings.[1] The hindwings are pale fuscous with a silver shine.[1] Adults are on wing in late March.[1]
The specific epithet is a compound word consisting of two components in Latin: silva (meaning forest) and colere (meaning to dwell).[1]
