Lakan (Persian: لاكان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Lakan Rural District of the Central District of Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 5,314 in 1,463 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 302 people in 89 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 284 people in 107 households.[2]
