Joseph A. Ryan (born c. 1970) is a United States Army major general who served as the commanding general of the 25th Infantry Division. He now serves as the assistant deputy chief of staff for operations, plans, and training.[1][2][3]

In July 2024, Ryan was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and assignment as deputy chief of staff for operations, plans, and training.[4][5]
