Attorneys General of British Ceylon (1801–1948). From 1801 to 1833, the position was called "Advocate Fiscal of Ceylon". From 1833 to 1838, it was the "King's Advocate of Ceylon". From 1838 to 1884 it was the "Queen's Advocate for Ceylon". From 1884 until independence in 1948, it was "Attorney General of Ceylon".
