Aar Paar (transl. This or That), also released as Annay Abichar/ Abichar, is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Shakti Samanta, based on the story of Shaktipada Rajguru.[1] It stars Rozina, Mithun Chakraborty, Utpal Dutt in lead roles.[2]
Ghanashyam aka Ghana (Mithun Chakraborty) is an honest fisherman with a coterie with whom he conducts his fishing work. He is indebted to Mahesh Manna aka Mahesh Babu for the loan he took to buy his boat.
Mahesh Manna is crooked, and cons Ghana and the likes of him by under-weighing their fishing catch — among other things. He also lusts after Ghana's love interest Kamli (Rozina).
As Ghana's problems mount and Mahesh Babu's plans to exploit them unravel, the situation sets up a final confrontation that even the local crooked cop (Asit Sen) cannot deter.
Lyrics: Anand Bakshi
The film was also released on 18 October 1985 with a Bengali-language voice track as Anyay Abichar.[3][4]
